A freshman from Duncan, South Carolina, Hunsberger posted a 10-0 record overall and a 4-0 record in conference action over the course of the month of January. He posted three pins, one tech fall, one major decision and five wins by decision.
Hunsberger began the month going 5-0 in the NWCA National Duals, which saw a tech fall against Fort Hays and a win by major decision against McKendree. In South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action Hunsberger had pins against Limestone, Belmont Abbey and Coker.
