A freshman from Whangarei, New Zealand, Hammond wins the honor for the third straight week.
Hammond continued his hot stretch on the court by going undefeated on the court last week. He posted a 2-0 mark at No. 1 doubles while going 2-0 in singles after playing in the first and second positions.
In doubles play, Hammond and Guilherme Zotin de Oliveira extended their winning streak to five straight following a 6-2 victory last Friday over Catawba before a 6-1 rout versus Coker this past Sunday.
In singles play, Hammond posted a straight-sets win over Kane Elkin of Catawba by a 6-0, 6-3 margin in the second position, as the Trojans secured a 6-1 team win. Hammond bumped up in the first position in his next match and he produced a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Andy Huynh of Coker with UMO recording a 6-1 team match win.
