A 5-foot-3 freshman from Valencia, Venezuela, Izarra recorded a pair of wins, as the Trojans outlasted Francis Marion by a 4-3 margin in the conference opener.
In the first slot in doubles, the nationally-ranked No. 43 team consisting of Izarra and senior Ingrid Montserrat defeated Chelsea Seidewitz and Julie Martincova with a 6-3 score.
In singles play, Izarra tallied her fourth-straight win with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the second position versus Martincova.
