A junior from Winter Haven, Florida, Rivera closed out Erskine’s three conference wins last week hitting .600 (6-of-10) with 10 RBIs and seven runs scored. Rivera slugged 1.900 on the week and had an on-base percentage of .643. Rivera homered in all three games in Erskine’s series with Chowan, including hitting two in the series finale. He had five extra-base hits on the week with four home runs and one double. Rivera is presently fifth in Conference Carolinas in OPS (1.248). He is tied for the league lead in home runs on the season with 11.
