A freshman distance runner from Pendleton, South Carolina, O’Neill put together a strong first month of the outdoor season. His 4:03.73 at the Trojan Opener in the 1,500m was a school-record and is currently in the top-10 in Conference Carolinas this season.
O’Neill also captured the Southern Wesleyan school record in the 5000m at the Weems Baskin Relays with a time of 14:49.10. The time is the second-best in Conference Carolinas this outdoor season.
