A freshman from Sint Pancras, Netherlands, Spijker won the 1500m and the 800m at the Hub-City Invite over the weekend. She posted a time of 4:44.97 in the 1500m and a 2:22.98 in the 800m. Her 1500m time is first in Conference Carolinas while she also holds the top spot in the 800m (2:18.41) from earlier this month. She is 10th in the Southeast Region in the 1500m and eighth in the 800m.
