A senior playing second base for the Patriots, Matsil hit an outstanding .667 (8-for-12) in four games with five runs scored and nine RBIs, a double, a triple and two home runs. The Indian Trail, North Carolina native slugged 1.417 in a 3-1 week for Francis Marion. In the lone loss on the week, an 8-6 defeat at UNC Pembroke on April 18, Matsil had her best game as she went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, one run scored and two RBIs. She had at least two RBIs, one hit and a run scored in each game and has a current 18-game hit streak and has reached base safely 29 games.
