A native of Fassberg, Germany, Seidewitz was 5-0 at No. 2 singles in April and was 2-3 at the No. 1 doubles position as the Patriots finished 3-2 in the month.
She opened the month with a win over Ariana Jativa of No. 33 Erskine, 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-6) then earned straight set wins against Chowan (6-1, 6-2) and Lees-McRae (6-3, 6-4). She won in three sets against Mishka Koricinova of King, 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 and then wrapped up the month with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Mitzy Enderink of North Greenville. She teamed with Julia Martincova to earn a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles against Chowan and the duo defeated Lees-McRae’s top pair of Mei Hiramatsu and Anita Ivanova, 76- (9-7).
