High School Lancaster A freshman from Irvington, Virginia, Claire Beitel posted a top-five finish at the UC Invitational, as Mount Olive also finished fifth in the team standings in their first tournament of the fall season. Beitel tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard with a seven-over 149 (74-75) while playing at the Edgewood Country Club. She tied for the team lead with three birdies and made 23 pars over two rounds while leaping two positions on the final day in West Virginia.
