A junior from Inderoy, Norway, Åasmund Norum of King has been named the men’s Golfer of the Week after claiming individual medalist honors at the King University Invitational at the par-70, 6483-yard Golf Club of Bristol in Bristol, Tennessee.
Norum shot a one-under 69 on day one of the event before firing a 65 in round two to total 134 for the event. It is the second time in his career that he totaled under par for a tournament, and it is a 36-hole career low for the junior.
The individual medalist honors marked Norum’s first collegiate tournament win.
