A senior middle hitter from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Destiny Holley of Lees-McRae hit an incredible .631 in two conference wins this past week.
Holley finished her efforts in the two matches averaging 5.88 points and 5.38 kills per set. She had six blocks on the week. In Lees-McRae’s four-set rivalry conference win over King, Holley had a match-best 25 kills in the victory. She hit .615 in the match. In the four-set victory over Erskine to close the week, Holley closed out her efforts with 18 kills in a league win in which she hit .654.
Holley is leading all in Conference Carolinas in conference matches with a .439 hitting percentage. She is also third in league matches with 3.74 kills per set.
