A junior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Alex Cerbino of Emmanuel helped her team claim the title at the 22nd Annual Sewanee Invite over six other teams (Montevallo, Life, Brenau, Sewanee, Berry and Bethel).
Cerbino, with the help of her relay teammates, swam a total of seven events, taking first in six events. Cerbino claimed first in every single freestyle event (25, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,650). She was also a part of the 200 freestyle relay team that claimed a meet record with a time of 1:40.80.
