A freshman outside hitter from Albertville, Minnesota, Madilyn Gartner of Francis Marion averaged 2.97 points, 2.57 kills, 2.30 digs, 0.28 service aces and 0.24 blocks per set over the course of the month of October.
Gartner collected five double-doubles over the course of the month (kills/digs) while also having seven matches with double-figure kills. She had a single-match high of 17 in both kills and digs during the month of October. Gartner is currently in the top-15 in kills per set in Conference Carolinas at 2.72.
