A freshman from Morristown, New Jersey, Mackenzie McCarthy of Belmont Abbey teamed with Hanley Riner to secure her first collegiate doubles win in October.
Playing at No. 2 doubles, McCarthy and Riner bested the Johnson C. Smith duo of Lauren Schave and Maria Razzetta, 7-5.
