A graduate student from Greer, South Carolina, C.J. Jamison of Converse helped propel the Valkyries to the 2-0 start by collecting six steals and 13 defensive boards.
Jamison overall averaged 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game in the two region victories over Mars Hill and Wingate. Jamison shot 67 percent (12-of-18) from the field in the two wins. In the win over Mars Hill, Jamison had 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals, while he had 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the victory over Wingate.
