A senior center from Washington, D.C., Asia Smith of Mount Olive produced an effective defensive performance in the 68-53 league victory versus Lees-McRae this past Saturday.
Smith tallied nine rebounds, four blocks and four steals while scoring eight points in 27 minutes on the court. Smith currently leads Conference Carolinas with 1.6 blocks per game.
