A junior guard from Charlotte, North Carolina, Nygell Verdier finished UNC Pembroke’s strong region non-conference win over Tusculum with three steals and eight rebounds.
Verdier posted a career-best 23 points in the win over the Pioneers. He shot 58 percent (7-of-12) from the field in the victory. Verdier is currently fourth in Conference Carolinas with 7.5 rebounds per game.
