A senior from Rio Claro, Brazil, Guilherme Zotin de Oliveira registered a 2-0 mark at No. 1 doubles while also picking up a win in the first position in singles play.
Last Friday afternoon against No. 13 Lander, de Oliveira and freshman Kristoffer Dalbak upset the No. 11 nationally-ranked doubles team of Hugo Regner and Matthew De Groot by a 6-3 margin.
The following day versus Lenoir-Rhyne, de Oliveira and Dalbak registered a 6-1 win over Vadym Rogynskyi and Rufus Plane in the first slot. At No. 1 singles, he rallied to earn a 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 win over Nevio Dux. Mount Olive eventually posted a 6-1 regional victory over the Bears at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center.
