A sophomore from Guayaquil, Ecuador, Ariana Jativa of Erskine was 2-0 at the No. 2 singles position last week.
In her first match of the week, Jativa bested Johanna Lippert of 11th-ranked North Georgia 7-6 (2), 4-6, 1-0 (5). She closed out her week with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Katie Robeson of Anderson.
