Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Leonel Gonzalez, Francis Marion

A senior from Morelia, Michoacán in México, Leonel Gonzalez of Francis Marion went 2-0 in singles (#3) and 2-0 in doubles (#1) last week. 

To start last week, Gonzalez bested Samuel Winter of Coker 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) and he and Martin Barbera beat the Cobras’ Tom Lamers/Thibaut Decaluwe, 6-2, in a 5-2 Patriot road win. Gonzalez bested Herick Isago of Augusta 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 and he and Barbera combined to down Garatti/Azoulay of Augusta, 6-3.
