A senior from Suwanee, Georgia, Emma Bentz of Erskine collected her second straight weekly honor by picking up two wins at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles last week.
Bentz helped lead Erskine to a thrilling 4-3 team win over Limestone with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Monika Temkova at No. 1 singles. She teamed with Luize Valtere to best the Limestone duo of Camila Molina Barranco and Anastasiia Khriapko, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles.
In Erskine's first-ever team win over Georgia College & State, Bentz defeated Jada Young 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 at No. 1 singles and then partnered with Valtere to down Young and Ashton Morrison, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles in the 5-2 team victory.
