The freshman was instrumental to a Patriot defense that posted a scoreless streak that reached 1171:12, the sixth-longest shutout streak in NCAA Division II women's soccer history. In the month, the defense allowed only 5.1 shots per match and only 1.7 shots on frame per match. The Patriots did not allow a shot on goal in three matches and in three others the defense only allowed one shot on goal. Offensively, Ayup posted an assist, coming on the game-winner in a 2-0 victory over Barton. She added four shots, two on frame in the month.
