A junior from Jacksonville, North Carolina, Russell finished last week with five points on two goals and an assist. Russell opened last week by scoring a goal against rival Mount Olive. She followed that up by finishing with a goal and an assist in Barton’s win over North Greenville. Russell scored the game-winning goal off her left foot from around 35 yards out in the 78th minute.
