He started with a 2:44 pin of Lincoln Memorial's James Thaxton before upsetting seventh-ranked Brennan Watkins of King. He defeated Watkins 4-2, helping Montevallo to the 18-16 victory that clinched a spot in the Conference Carolinas Men's Wrestling Championship for the Falcons.
