A native of Charlotte, N.C., Davis posted a .324 batting average while playing as the program’s everyday shortstop, as the nationally-ranked Patriots produced a 13-5 mark with 10-3 record in conference in the month of March.
He tallied 23 hits, including four doubles and a triple, while driving in 19 runs and crossing the plate 15 times. Davis registered seven multi-RBI performances and five multi-hit games. In the field, he posted a .938 fielding percentage with only four errors while turning seven double plays and recording 18 putouts.
Davis started the month with a 2-for-5 performance with two runs batted in and one run scored against nationally-ranked North Greenville. Against Barton College in a three-game road series, he tallied four hits and two doubles while driving in five and scoring twice the sweep. Davis also produced a stellar performance in the series sweep at Emmanuel University, going 6-for-13 at the plate with seven runs batted in, and three runs scored.
