Byrne won the two events she was entered in a dual win over Wingate. She won the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle with times of 5:02.99 and 10:11.79, respectively. The 1000 yard freestyle time is currently the fastest in NCAA Division II and the 500 yard freestyle time is the fastest in Conference Carolinas and fourth nationally.
