A senior from Pedrina, Spain, Trueba won his first event as a Tornado as he helped lead King to the team title at the King University Invitational at Bristol Country Club.
Trueba posted his second straight top 10 finish to start the year as he finished the 36-hole event with a two-under 138. He opened the tournament with a round of two-under 68 before carding an even-par 70 to win the tournament by one stroke.
