A freshman goalkeeper from St. Charles, Missouri, Garvilla made 11 saves in a pivotal 2-0 week for Lees-McRae. Garvilla first made six saves in the 2-1 home win for Lees-McRae over Belmont Abbey on Tuesday, Oct. 12. He then made five saves in the 2-1 road victory for Lees-McRae over previous conference unbeaten and regionally-ranked Mount Olive on Saturday, Oct. 16.
