A freshman from Talavera de la Reina, Spain, Aytun secured a 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 victory over Milligan’s Kaitlin Barrett at No. 1 singles on Sunday, Oct. 17.
The win allowed Aytun to move to a perfect 2-0 in dual matches this fall. Aytun also collected a 0-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Katya Akimenko of UVA Wise at No. 1 singles on Sept. 11.
