A graduate student from Tuxford, England, Sims continued his fantastic final season in a Chowan uniform last week by leading the Hawks to two shutout victories with a 1-0 win over Barton and a 3-0 victory over Erskine. Sims logged all 180 minutes in the two matches from his spot defensively while also collecting two assists in the road win over Erskine on Saturday, Oct. 23. Despite being a defender, Sims has 10 goals and three assists on the season and his 23 points on the season are second-most in all of Conference Carolinas. His 10 goals are second-best in Conference Carolinas presently.
