A freshman from Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, Tsurev collected wins in the 100-yard (52.83) and 200-yard (1:56.75) backstroke events last weekend on the road against Catawba. He also led off the first-place 200-yard freestyle (1:27.18) victory for the Bulldogs.
