The freshman from Eldoret, Kenya began the month by posting her fastest 5k time of 18:24.5 to finish 45th at the UAH Chargers Cross Country Invitational. She wrapped up the month with her top 6k time of the season, 22:45.7, to win the Conference Carolinas Women’s Cross Country Championship and earn Runner and Freshman of the Year honors while also being named First Team All-Conference.
