A freshman from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Cerbino set two meet records and another school record at the Sewanee Invite. She claimed the meet record in the 200 freestyle (1:58.23) and the 500 freestyle (5:17.93). Cerbino also set a school record in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 18:09.20. She was named Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week for her efforts.
Cerbino also put together a strong showing at EC Invite where she won three events in the 100 butterfly (1:00.04), the 500 freestyle (5:16.08) and the 200 freestyle relay where she led things off with a 25.12 split.
