A native of Mebane, North Carolina, Dean posted big wins in both of his matches this week. He began by defeating Nolan Wheeler of Newberry by a tech fall, 22-7 at 6:36 which spurred the Crusaders to their first-ever win against the Wolves, 20-16. Dean closed the week with a major decision over Colby Romjue of Seton Hill 21-8 on Saturday, earning four of The Abbey's 10 team points.
