A senior from Concordia, Brazil, Simioni paced Emmanuel to a strong weekend at the EC January Invite on Friday, Jan. 22 and the Emmanuel Senior Day Winter Meet on Saturday, Jan. 23.
In the EC January Invite, Simioni finished first in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.56) before capturing first in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.35). She was also part of the first place team in the 200 medley relay (30.17 in the 50 breaststroke). Simioni also notched multiple second-place finishes over the course of last weekend.
