In the Friday, Jan. 22 portion of the event he finished first in the 400 medley relay (55.42 in the 100 fly), first in the 200 IM (2:00.82) and first in the 200 fly (2:05.53). One day later in the Emmanuel Senior Day Swim Meet, Bretas Dantas collected first in the 200 medley relay (23.04 in the fly split), first in the 200 free (1:49.21) and first in the 100 free (46.47).
