A sophomore from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Martinez won three events in a home win over conference rival Converse on Saturday, Dec. 4. She picked up the top honors in the 200 freestyle (1:57.57), the 50 freestyle (24.27) and the 100 butterfly (58.58).
Martinez also swam the last leg in UNC Pembroke’s 200 medley relay victory (1:48.21).
