A sophomore from Franklin, North Carolina, Vernagallo went 2-0 with a pair of falls in the 174-pound weight class to help the Trojans sweep the Trojan Duals over Apprentice and St. Andrews on Sunday, Dec. 12. Vernagallo began the day with a fall at 1:01 over Darek Dabbs of Apprentice and closed the day with a fall at 2:45 over Ty’quez Stuckey of St. Andrews.
