A senior guard from Germantown, Maryland, Simpson recorded five steals, two blocked shots and grabbed 11 defensive rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Lions. In the Dec. 15 win over North Greenville Simpson scored 21 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists, tallied four steals and blocked a shot. On Dec. 18 against Mount Olive he blocked a shot and had one steal to go with 21 points and 12 rebounds (nine defensive).
