A redshirt sophomore from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, Shaffer pushed his season win total to 20 with a second-period pin of Joshua Voelkel of Queens at 285 pounds on Jan. 11. The result is the fourth straight win for Shaffer who is 5-0 in dual meets this season and 2-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
