A senior forward from Windermere, Florida, Curry averaged a double-double with 17.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in King’s three conference wins last week. Curry shot 65 percent (17-of-26) from the field and connected on 89 percent (17-of-19) of his free throw attempts. He also had six steals, three assists and two blocks over the course of his week. In King’s thrilling 109-107 overtime win over Blue Ridge rival Lees-McRae on Monday, Jan. 24, Curry ended his efforts with 19 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block. A couple of days later in an 89-72 victory over Erskine on Wednesday, Jan. 26, Curry finished with eight points, six rebounds and one block. Curry closed out his week in the 96-88 league victory over Mount Olive on Saturday, Jan. 29 with 24 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and one assist.
