A freshman from Bristol, Virginia, Gobble won a pair of individual events to lead the Lees-McRae men's swimming team to a 117-39 win over host Catawba in a dual meet on Friday, Jan. 29.
Gobble touched first in the 50 free (22.44) and in the 100 free (49.59), while also swimming a leg of the 800 free relay (7:33.13).
