Ross, a 133-pound freshman from Monroe, North Carolina, improved to 13-6 on the season with a 13-7 win over Timothy Decatur of Newberry on Jan. 29. He suffered close losses on Jan. 23 to Queens and Lander in a South Atlantic Conference Carolinas tri-match.
This is the second freshman of the month honor for Ross this season.
