A sophomore guard from Columbia, North Carolina, Spencer put together a historic week defensively in Barton’s two wins last week. He averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game in the two victories. In Barton’s 79-72 conference home win over Chowan on Feb. 8, Spencer picked up a triple-double with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks. He also had three assists and a steal. Spencer followed up the triple-double with 15 points, four rebounds, three blocks and a steal in Barton’s conference home win over Converse on Feb. 11.
