A junior from Sofia, Bulgaria, Karatantcheva clinched Francis Marion’s win over Catawba with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Vicky Beardsley at No. 3 singles. She also teamed with Camryn Cassetori to earn a 6-3 victory over Catawba’s Veronika Poliakova and Lena Friedrich. The win for the duo at No. 3 doubles clinched the doubles point for Francis Marion.
