A senior forward from Arlington, Virginia, Tham averaged 22 points and 16.5 rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent from the field in leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week and a 22-1 league record. She began the week with 21 points, 19 rebounds, three steals, three assists and a blocked shot in a 79-60 win over UNC Pembroke on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Tham followed the effort with 23 points and 14 rebounds with two assists, one block and one steal in a 93-74 win over Lees-McRae on Thursday, Feb. 24. Tham is a five-time weekly award winner as she was also named Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 22.
Clark, the three-time Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Month, earned her first weekly honor as she averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds to go with five steals and three assists on the week. The freshman guard from Stanley, North Carolina began the week with 11 points, one steal and six rebounds (five defensive) in the loss to Barton on Tuesday, Feb. 22. She closed the week with 18 points and 13 rebounds (eight defensive) as well as four steals and three assists in a 68-41 win over North Greenville on Thursday, Feb. 24.
