A freshman from Oslo, Norway, Staahlbrand picked up victories at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles in Barton’s 5-2 team victory over West Virginia Wesleyan on March 6.
Staahlbrand and Marmestedt teamed up to best Khiro Karasawa and Camillo Salvi, 6-1, at No. 1 doubles. Staahlbrand then secured a 6-4, 6-4 win over Taylor Papworth at No. 1 singles.
