A junior from Corona, California, Emanuele closed out Mount Olive’s six games last week hitting .625 (10-for-16) with 10 RBIs and seven runs scored. She owned a slugging percentage of 1.125 and an on-base percentage of .727. Emanuele had four extra-base hits on the week on two doubles and two home runs. The two home runs allowed her to pick up her Conference Carolinas-leading 12
th home run of the season. Her 12 home runs in a single season breaks Mount Olive’s single-season record originally set in 2008. Emanuele currently leads all of NCAA Division II with 62 RBIs on the season.
