A freshman from Simpsonville, South Carolina, Hill had a strong first month of the outdoor season. She posted the third-best time so far in Conference Carolinas in the 400 meters with a time of 57.45 at the SWU Susan Rouse Invite. She also collected the fifth-best outdoor time in Conference Carolinas this season with a time of 25.13 at the Trojan Opener.
 
In the field, Hill secured the second-best mark in the javelin in Conference Carolinas this outdoor season with a mark of 38.16m.
