A senior from Bradenton, Florida, Kovats opened the 2021 spring season by downing Newberry’s Enzo Blavignat 6-0 and 7-5 at No. 1 singles. He also teamed with Jonas Grasmuck to best Marcel Schomburg and Stratas Anastopoulo, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles. As a team, Souothern Wesleyan opened its season with a 6-1 win over Newberry.
